In 1914, Gilles Paulus started the current ferry company with a ferry connection on the Maas between Velden and Grubbenvorst. This has grown into a family business with no less than ten ferry connections in the Southeast Netherlands. Every year, millions of vehicles and passengers are transported across the rivers.

Yes, you can pay on all our ferries. This can only be done contactlessly, so make sure you have it turned on. Occasionally, the ATM may not work. That is why we always recommend that you also bring cash.
Where do I buy the customer card?
The voucher can be purchased on the ferry for a fee of €25.00 (cash or pin). When paying for the card, you will automatically receive a bonus credit of €2.50 and the first trip will be charged at the regular rate. It is therefore not possible to send separate customer cards.
Which ferry is my voucher valid on?
The voucher is only valid on the ferry where it was purchased, with the exception of the ferries around Venlo. A card purchased on one of the following ferry connections is also valid on the other routes on the list: Kessel-Beesel, Baarlo-Steyl, Velden-Grubbenvorst, Lottum-Lomm and Broekhuizen-Arcen.
How do I register my customer card?
You can register the card at tegoed.veerdienstservice.nl. Here you first need to create an account via the orange bar “No account yet?”. On the next page, fill in the requested information and confirm it via the “Sign Up” button. Then enter the unique card code (found under the QR code) to connect to your account. It is also possible to scan the QR code with your mobile phone to access the portal above. You then no longer have to enter the card code after creating an account.
The card code is incorrect. What is the problem?
Have you entered the letters and numbers correctly? Pay particular attention to the letter “O” and the number “0” and the letter “I” and the number “1”. All letters in the card code are written in capital letters.
My MAP can't be found. What is the problem?
Did you use the correct login details? Please make sure that you do not confuse your business email address and private email address here. This is because the card can only be linked to one account.
How do I know my balance?
By logging into the customer portal you can see how much your balance is. As soon as the balance falls below €10.00, an automated email is sent from the system to alert you to a low balance.
How do I top up my customer card?
You can top up the card in your customer portal. Upgrading is only possible via iDeal, Sofort or Bancontact. Each upgrade provides a bonus credit of 25% of the upgraded amount.
Do I need an invoice for the upgrades?
In the customer portal you can download an invoice in PDF format for each upgrade. Please note that our rate is exempt from VAT and therefore you will not find VAT on the invoice.
Where can I find the use of my customer card?
On the customer portal you will find all transactions that have taken place on your card. The date, time, ferry connection and ticket price are listed for each transaction.
I'm not receiving an email about a low balance. How is that possible?
Also check the spam box of your mail. This is because it is possible that the e-mails end up here. If the mail cannot be found here either, please contact us at info@tonpaulusveerbedrijf.nl.
Is it possible to use one customer card with multiple people?
Yes, this is possible. You can save the card in an application on your mobile phone. Examples include Stocards or My Receipt. These applications can be downloaded free of charge to your mobile phone and you can manually save/add our customer card here. You therefore do not need the physical card to cancel the trip on the ferry.
Can I add multiple customer card to my account?
Yes, this is possible. You can also assign a name or number to each customer card.
I lost my card or it no longer works. What now?
Get in touch via info@tonpaulusveerbedrijf.nl or via 06 — 29 21 63 53. A new card will be created for you. The old card is then removed from the system and the data is transferred to the new card. The administrative costs of €3.75 will be deducted from your balance. Should it happen that the card no longer functions despite careful use and storage, the administrative costs can be waived.
I lost my password. What now?
You can use the customer portal request a new password.
Can the balance be transferred from one card to the other?
Yes, this is possible if both cards are registered to the same account. To do this, please contact us via info@tonpaulusveerbedrijf.nl.
I'm not using my card anymore. Can I have my remaining balance paid out?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. Maybe you can still make someone close to you happy with the card.
The 25-trip tickets purchased in the past remain valid until all trips have been used.
The maximum vehicle weight depends on the ferry in question. This information can be found on the pages of each ferry.
